We undertake these meeting to identity short comings in the way each Management Unit has carried out socialization, data collection, mapping and to take corrective steps before the actual planting takes place.
In the 13 management areas, the program was introduced to villagers who took part in planning species to be planted and identified areas to plant. The plots of land for be planted are usually deforested or land too dry to grow rice or other food crops. The areas were mapped.
The labels say that albazzia, teak and mango will be planted in these fields when the raining season starts.

Our management system now covers a significant part of Central Java.
The monitoring system is tested on the first plantings by the Bawen Management Unit. Results show that 81% of the seedling from 2007 survived. A yellow label mark plot of land. Each plot of land has a number of trees each with red label.

Trees4Trees™ has been planting trees in Central Java communities since 2007. One of the big benefits of community forestry is that in addition to added tree cover it provides an income for those communities when the trees are harvested. Some of the fast growing species planted by Trees4Trees are already coming to harvest-able maturity.
Water is the essence of life and to provide a healthy living environment for local communities, the water supply must be clean and protected.
