Ashanti Furniture & Design is a family owned & run business located at Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia. We are importers and retailers of quality sustainable  timber and woven furniture. We specialise in using recycled timber, producing pieces in contemporary styles as well as carved antique pieces. We stock a large range on one off pieces from India, Java and Bali.  We have a large showroom with our standard ranges, however we can custom build to your own design and needs, at no extra charge than it would cost on the showroom floor. We ship interstate, door to door in major cities at surprisingly affordable rates.
As a small business we are passionate about providing quality recycled Timber & Woven furniture at realistic prices. Our 750sq meter space at Kortum Dve showcases our unique range of sustainable furniture, with  room concept’s of contemporary clean line  styles, through to one off hand carved pieces that make a house feel like a home.
We pride ourselves on our personal service, going that extra mile to ensure a good shopping experience for everyone. Can’t find what you need instore? We also offer custom made solutions. Sit with us, enjoy an organic cafe latte as we help design something specific for your personal needs. We custom make in recycled Teak (staining from whitewash right through to black stain, or create a beautiful piece in Natural timber with a waxed finish) its amazing marrying old recycled timbers with contempory styles such as Balinese furniture. We also make to order using sustainable natural fibres such as Banana fibre, Water Hyacinth and Rattan. Lounges, beds chairs,stools , amazing daybeds, all very durable. We are stockiest of a great range of funky industrial style furniture using reclaimed timbers, forged iron and steel. We are one on the largest stockist of Old Boat Timber furniture in the state and will custom make if required.
