Description
Neolamarckia cadamba or bur-flower tree. Also known as kadamba or cadamba tree. It is an evergreen tree with unique flowers. In many countries in Asia, including Indonesia, it is popular for its multi benefits.

The tree can grow up to 45 meters in height, featuring a branch-free trunk extending 30 meters, with a maximum diameter of 160 cm. The stem is straight and cylindrical, crowned with high-reaching horizontal branches, buttressed up to a height of 1.5 meters. The outer bark has a gray-brown to brown hue, with shallow grooves

Products
It has been well-known as a traditional medicinal herb for centuries. The stem bark, roots, fruit, seeds, flowers and leaves of jabon tree are crucial and believed to cure various diseases. Its flowers are used as the ingredients of perfumes and essential oils and jabon tree is usually used for timber and papermaking.
